A Short Film About Therapy, Falling in Love, and the End of the World

Having feelings for your therapist might feel like the end of the world, but it’s really not. Those feelings might be awkward, and they can’t be acted upon, but they’re normal — and bringing them up can help you grow.

But what if the world was actually ending? That’s the question raised in Let’s Not Panic, an adorable short film by Heather Jack. Its take on therapy is light and humorous, as is its take on the apocalypse. It’s a meet-cute by way of the armageddon. Above all else, it’s a story about finding ways to believe in yourself, even if those ways are unconventional and require a good chunk of the world to end in the process. Hypothetically, of course.
