In This Webcomic, Mental Health and Hope Share the Stage

Earlier this year, illustrator Vicky Leta launched the webcomic Generic Lottery. It’s a personal look at mental health, or as she puts it, at “depression, dating, and being a dingus in your mid 20s.”

In it, she perfectly captures the frustration of knowing that anxiety isn’t rational and not being able to do anything about that.

That feeling when self-affirmations aren’t quite enough.

And most of all, the difference each of us can make even when it feels like nothing is enough.
