In This Web Series, People Tell Their Mental Health Stories in VR

While VR has long been used as a treatment for certain mental health issues, it’s only recently become a tool for self-expression. BBC Three has taken advantage of that opportunity for a fascinating series of videos.

In ‘My Mental Health In VR,’ people tell their mental health stories while communicating their experience in VR. Using Google’s Tilt Brush 3D painting tool, they can paint their experiences in life-sized scale.

In the video above, Katy tells her story of Borderline Personality Disorder. In later videos, James shares his experiences of Anorexia & Bulimia, and Danika talks about Psychotic Depression.
