Welcome to the 2021 Class of Ambassadors!

We at Take This are so excited to announce our newest Take This Streaming Ambassadors cohort! Our Ambassadors are official representatives for Take This who stand against mental health stigma and promote mental health inclusivity in their streams. This year’s class is the largest to date with 21 fantastic individuals.

BlackCompat Roe

Rochelle Hinds, one part of the mighty BlackCompat duo, is a passionate content creator with over 15 years of experience in the video game industry. She is a driven advocate for diversity, representation, inclusion, equality, and empathy.

BlushingCrafter

BlushingCrafter streams games as well as hosts talk show episodes. Topics often highlight mental health, disabilities and LGBTQIA+ perspectives and she is a strong advocate for these issues. 

CaveMobster

CaveMobster is a neurodivergent variety streamer with a focus on empathy and compassion.  Her streams integrate mental health conversation with comedy. Her goal is to normalize mental health conversations while building a supportive and understanding community. 

Chimp195

Chimp195 hosts the show Blind Psyche, a weekly show about all things accessibility, mental health, video games and psychology. Chimp195’s himself is a legally blind person with Albinism and a PhD student studying Psychology.

cinnarin

Cinna, aka Rin, is a twitch streamer and avid tiktok creator! She strives to make a positive space for her community and everyone who drops by her streams. 

Dasbif

Dasbif is a professional moderator who specializes in working with marginalized creators. His skills include hosting panels, fundraising for charity, self-proclaimed Pokemon master, and being a wonderful uncle. 

DNDJordanLea

DNDJordanLea is a variety gamer, streamer and TTRPG player/dm. She is a Co-Founder of theempatheatre, partnered with Mini Terrain Domain & a charity streamer.  As a queer, chronically ill content creator and mental health advocate – she works to create a safe Haven!

Goblinkatie

Katie is a TTRPG streamer, both as a player & GM, a podcaster, and a variety gaming streamer. She is Executive Manager for the Jasper’s Game Day charity and an avid supporter of mental health support and awareness. Also, she has a thing for dice. 

Jay Justice

Jay Justice (@ThatJayJustice) is an editor, developer & advocate whose mission is to create lasting change & inspire others to do the same. 

Jebro

Jebro has been a Twitch Partner for 6 years and is currently pursuing training as a clinical mental health counselor. You can find him commentating eSports for Guild Wars 2, Rocket League, Paragon, and now Sea of Thieves.

Joshua M. Simons

Josh is a freelance TTRPG designer, a variety streamer, and describes himself as “pretty mediocre at soccer.” 

KingArgaroth

KingArgarorth describes himself as a loveable dorky streamer who mixes humour with a strong community vibe. He’s a variety streamer who weaves in discussion of mental health as he plays a variety of games.

Leckakay

Leckakay is a queer variety streamer, goofball, sweet tea lover, & ADHD-energized gal! She games while promoting the importance of mental health and wellness to work to normalize mental health chats among everyday activities. Destigmatizing mental health 1 stream at a time!

LyaeraAsunaya

Lyaera is both a psychiatric ER nurse and Twitch variety streamer. She features her ever-expanding game library with her community which is built on support, acceptance, and love. 

Nymeria Streams

Nymeria (she/they) is an avid video and tabletop gamer living in the Pacific Northwest. They enjoy playing games with a strong narrative heart and sharing their thoughts on story and art. When she’s not gaming, she’s writing, drinking tea, and making new games with her best friend @SixStringRPG.

Omega Jones

Omega Jones, also known as the Critical Bard, is an actor, vocalist, & tabletop professional. His work has been seen with Wizards of the Coast, World of Darkness, & Critical Role. He strives for diversity and inclusion in all things that he does. As the crown ruler of the Kingdom of Treble, he seeks to make treble wherever he goes for it’s up to us to shake up the system, one Treblemaker at a time!

Ready Player Mama

Game journalist, variety streamer, business analyst, and Canadian mama with a big heart. Reports gaming news on the Virtual Economy podcast.

smolecule

Smolecule is a queer Filipinx-American living with mental illness. She plays indie games, attempts voiceovers, and creates a cozy space for real talk.

The_French_Tuck

The_French_Tuck describes themselves as a streamer, educator, and full time nerd. They can be found across the internet trying to make the world a kinder place. 

UnicornyKy

UnicornyKy is a variety content creator, small business owner & mental health advocate. She believes in showing up as her authentic self & sharing kindness.

Wordfangirl

Per WordFanGirl, “Chaos & kindness are kind of my thing.” She’s a variety streamer focusing on laughter, first playthroughs, and charity fundraisers.

Take This is a mental health nonprofit decreasing stigma and increasing support for mental health in games.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit mental health organization providing comprehensive resources and support that is tailored for the unique needs of the game development community and embraces the diverse cultures and issues of the game community. We combine clinical best practice with a love of all things gamer, providing a safe, accepting space for gamers and developers. We work in a spirit of partnership with other organizations addressing these issues among game enthusiasts, streamers, and creators.
