Finding a therapist for you is an important task, and one that varies widely from place to place. The process can be daunting, especially if you don’t even know where to begin.
This year, for World Mental Health Day, Take This has launched instructions for how to find a therapist in 4 additional countries around the globe! You can now read instructions on how to find a therapist in Norway, Morocco, the Netherlands, and the UK. Thanks to some of our very generous Accelerate program alumni who provided us with information on selecting therapists in their homes, the first few countries are now live in the How to Find a Therapist (International) tab of our Mental Health Resources page. If you don’t see your country listed yet, check back soon as we’ll be adding to this resource as we’re able.
If you are a mental health professional in a country that isn’t listed and would like to provide information for us to use, please reach out to in**@******is.org.
We want to say a special thank you to the following individuals who contributed information to this new initiative: Natasha Arthur, Jamy Drapeza, Dr. Sarah Hays, Dr. Christopher Leech, Dr. JC Lau, and Hajar Zaiz.
